A drop that the screen survives is often paid for by the back. The S26+ rear cover is glass bonded to the frame with adhesive, and once it cracks, the phone loses its seal along with its looks.
We fit the original Samsung cover for the S26+ in the matching colour, bonded with fresh adhesive. The price shown includes both the cover and the fitting work.
Signs you need this repair
- Shattered back after a drop onto brick
- Single deep crack across the rear glass
- Glass fragments catching on the case lining
- Gap opening between glass and frame

Common questions
Does replacing the back cover involve opening the whole phone?
The cover comes off the back, so the repair works from that side. The damaged glass is lifted, the frame is cleaned of old adhesive, and the new cover is bonded on. It is a routine job for our technicians and one of the more straightforward repairs on this model.
I want to sell the phone soon. Is the repair worth it?
A cracked back is the first thing a buyer negotiates on, and the discount they want is usually more than the repair. An original Samsung cover, properly bonded, brings the phone back to presentable and sealed. On a current model like the S26+, it generally pays for itself.
Is the glass on the back the same as the screen glass?
No. The rear cover is a separate glass panel with no display underneath, so nothing behind it lights up. It still matters, though. It seals the phone and carries the structure of the back, so a cracked cover is worth fixing even though the phone keeps working.
