The S22's 3700mAh battery is the smallest in the S22 line-up, which means it works through its charge cycles faster than most. More cycles per year means earlier wear, and owners feel it as a day that keeps getting shorter.
We fit the original Samsung battery for this model at our Umhlanga workshop. The price shown is complete, covering the cell and the fitting.

Common questions
Why does my S22 battery seem to wear faster than my old phone?
The S22 carries a 3700mAh cell, compact for a flagship, so it cycles more often to do the same work. Batteries wear by cycles, and more cycles per year brings the wear forward. It is normal for this model, and an original replacement resets the clock.
Should I wait until the battery is completely dead?
No. A battery rarely dies cleanly. It fades, causes random shutdowns, and in the worst case swells. Replace it when the phone stops lasting your day or shuts down unexpectedly. Waiting adds frustration and, with swelling, risk to the screen and back glass. There is nothing to gain by holding out.
How long does the new battery take to settle in?
You can use the phone normally straight away. Give the battery indicator a few full charge and use cycles to calibrate its percentage reading, which sometimes drifts on a fresh cell. Beyond that there is no special treatment needed. Avoid extreme heat, as with any phone.
