Common questions
Can I do this repair myself with a kit from the internet?
The glass is bonded with strong adhesive and comes off in fragments, usually under heat, and the wireless coil and cameras sit right underneath. DIY attempts often end with a damaged coil or a cover that lifts. An original cover professionally bonded avoids all of that risk.
Will the phone still charge wirelessly through the new glass?
Yes. The new cover is the original Samsung part at the correct thickness, and the charging coil inside is untouched when the job is done properly. We test wireless charging before handover, along with the cameras and flash that sit under the same glass.
Does a cracked back affect the cameras?
It can. Cracks around the camera housing let dust in, and broken glass near the lenses scatters light, which shows up as flare and hazy photos in bright sun. Replacing the cover closes the phone up again and keeps the optics clean while protecting your fingers.
