I closed the phone on a small stone and the screen has a mark. Will it spread?
Very likely, yes. A pressure point on ultra thin glass is a weak spot that every fold works on. What starts as a small mark often grows into a line or dead area within weeks. Booking the screen replacement early usually means a cleaner, simpler repair.
My phone is nearly new. Should this not be a warranty matter?
Accidental damage is normally a repair rather than a factory fault, but bring the phone in either way. As an authorised Samsung service centre we can look at it, tell you honestly what the damage is and advise on the right route before anything is booked.
Does the new screen change how the fold feels?
It should feel the way it did when the phone was new. The original assembly is built for the Flip6 hinge, and we check the fold action, the crease area and touch response before handing the phone back. If anything feels off at collection, tell us then and there.
