Even a newer phone can develop charging trouble. On the Flip6 the usual causes are lint packed into the USB-C socket, a pin bent by a forced plug, or a cable yanked out sideways once too often. The port sits on a sub-board inside the lower half.
We replace that board with an original Samsung part and test charging and data transfer afterwards. The price shown covers the part and the fitting.
Signs you need this repair
- Cable already feels loose on a newer phone
- Charging works, then stops, then works again
- Moisture warning appears in dry weather
- No fast charging even with the original charger

Common questions
The phone is barely a year old. Why would the port fail already?
Ports fail on use, not age. Frequent charging, dusty pockets and cables pulled at an angle can wear a socket quickly, and a pin bent by one forced plug can do it in a second. We check whether cleaning solves it before recommending the sub-board replacement.
Is there anything I should try before booking?
Test a different original cable and adapter, restart the phone, and look into the socket with a light for packed lint. Do not dig into the port with anything metal. If it still misbehaves after that, book it in and we will diagnose it properly.
Will you tell me if it turns out to be something other than the port?
Yes. Every repair starts with an assessment, and if the fault sits somewhere else, say the battery or a software issue, we tell you before any parts go in. You decide how to proceed with the actual fault in front of you.
