Common questions
Can ghost touches be a screen problem?
Very often. A damaged digitiser layer fires phantom touches, so the phone types, opens apps or answers calls on its own. It usually follows a knock or moisture exposure. A new original screen replaces the digitiser along with the glass and panel, which resolves it.
Do I need to unlock my phone for a screen repair?
It helps with testing. After fitting we check touch, brightness, colour and the fingerprint reader, and a locked phone limits what we can verify with you. You can enter your PIN yourself at the counter rather than sharing it. If you prefer to keep it locked, tell us and we will test what we can.
Is an original screen worth it on a compact phone like this?
Yes, arguably more so. The S22 panel is small, bright and colour accurate, and cheap copies look dull and respond badly at this size. OEM screens are calibrated for the specific model. Since the price shown already includes the genuine part and fitting, the copy saves less than people expect.
