The charging port is the hardest-working connector on the phone, plugged and unplugged thousands of times over its life. Lint, worn contacts and bent pins are the three usual failures, and they all show up the same way, as unreliable charging.
On the S26+ we fit the original Samsung USB sub-board, replaced in full at our Umhlanga workshop. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
It says charging but the battery still drops. What is going on?
The port is passing a trickle, not real current. Worn or dirty contacts throttle the connection so badly that the screen and apps use power faster than it arrives. It looks like a battery problem, but it is usually the port, which is exactly what we test before replacing anything.
Is the sub-board an original Samsung part too?
Yes. The board carries the USB-C connector and its supporting components, and the one we fit is the original Samsung part for the S26+. Fitting by our technicians is included in the price shown, the same as with every other repair on this page.
Can I prevent this from happening again?
Mostly, yes. Keep the port lint-free with an occasional gentle clean, plug the cable in straight, and retire frayed cables early, since damaged plugs chew contacts. Wireless charging also spares the port for day-to-day top-ups. Ports still wear eventually, but good habits push that day out by years.
