With a 6.7 inch screen, a glass back and a 4800mAh battery, the S21+ is the S21 scaled up, and its repairs are its own too. The glass rear shatters where the standard S21's plastic one would scuff, and the bigger panel means more glass at risk in a drop.

Common questions

What is actually different between the S21+ and the S21?

Size, battery and the back panel. The S21+ is SM-G996B at 6.7 inches with 4800mAh, against SM-G991B at 6.2 inches with 4000mAh. The S21+ back is glass where the S21's is plastic, which is why the back cover here is R1 700 and only R1 286 on the S21.

Why is the screen R4 800 when the S21 Ultra's is R7 438?

Different panels. The S21+ runs a flat 6.7 inch FHD+ display and the Ultra a curved 6.8 inch QHD+ one, and the gap between the two parts is R2 638. Both are 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X, so what you are paying the difference for is resolution and the curved edge, not the refresh rate.

It is a January 2021 phone. Which repairs still make sense?

The battery at R1 600 and the charging port at R1 407 both do, since a 4800mAh cell five years in has lost a noticeable share of what it started with. The back cover at R1 700 is cosmetic, so that one is a choice rather than a need. The screen at R4 800 is the one to sit with, because it costs about what the other three come to together, R4 707.
