Common questions
Do you replace just the glass or the whole screen?
The whole screen assembly. On the S21+ the glass, the AMOLED panel and the touch layer are laminated together as one Samsung part. Glass-only repairs on this construction are a shortcut that compromises the panel. The complete original assembly is what we fit, and fitting is included.
Will 120Hz and the brightness be the same as before?
Identical, because it is the identical part. The original service panel carries the same refresh rate, resolution and brightness as the screen the phone shipped with, and it is calibrated for the SM-G996B specifically. After fitting we check refresh, colour and the fingerprint reader before handover.
The crack is small. Can it wait?
It can wait until it cannot. Small cracks grow with pocket pressure, temperature swings and the odd splash, and an AMOLED can go from one hairline to a dead strip quickly. If you do wait, tape over the crack to keep moisture out and back up your data.
