Common questions
Why does the back need adhesive work instead of just clipping on?
Glass-backed phones are sealed, not clipped. The Fold4's rear panel is bonded to the frame across its whole surface, which keeps the body rigid and keeps dust out. Fitting a new one means removing the old adhesive completely and bonding the new panel evenly, which is what our technicians do.
Will you match my Fold4's colour?
Yes. The replacement is an original Samsung cover made in the Fold4's factory finishes. Tell us your colour when booking and we confirm the correct part for your phone. An original cover also keeps the camera surround and finish looking factory rather than obviously repaired.
Can a cracked back damage anything inside?
It can over time. Cracks open a path for dust, grit and moisture, and the wireless charging coil sits directly behind the rear glass. Broken glass also tends to spread with daily handling. Replacing the cover closes the phone up again before anything underneath suffers.
