Two screens, two very different repairs. The Fold4's 7.6 inch inner display is a flexible AMOLED that folds shut thousands of times a year, while the 6.2 inch cover screen is conventional glass. Each is its own Samsung part, and each is replaced on its own.
Both replacements use original panels calibrated for the SM-F936, fitted by trained technicians at our Umhlanga centre, with part and fitting included in the price shown.

Common questions
Is it normal for damage to start at the crease?
Yes, that is the panel's hardest-working point. The flexible layers bend there on every open and close, so wear, dead lines and cracks tend to show up along the fold first. Once visible damage starts at the crease it generally spreads, so it is worth repairing before it does.
Why insist on an original panel for a folding screen?
Folding displays are built to tight tolerances around the hinge, and Samsung calibrates each panel for the specific model. An original SM-F936 panel matches the fold radius, colour tuning, brightness and S Pen digitizer of the factory screen. Copies of folding panels have a poor record at the crease.
Can I use the cover screen while I wait to fix the inner one?
The phone will run on the cover screen, which is why many owners limp along that way. Be careful though. A damaged folding panel can deteriorate each time the phone opens, and pressure or moisture makes cracks spread. Keeping it closed until the repair is the safer habit.
