Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Repairs

Both are the Galaxy S24 FE and they take identical parts, so every price here applies either way. The number is printed in Settings, About phone, so you can check before you come in. What does matter is not confusing it with the S23 FE, which reads SM-S711B or SM-S711BE and uses different parts throughout.

Resolution, and then price all the way down the list. The FE panel is Full HD+ and costs R3 900 to replace where the S24+ is QHD+ at R4 858, and the same gap runs through the rest of the phone: battery R1 575 against R1 900, back cover R1 450 against R1 580, charging port R1 251 against R1 388. The screens match in size only, and an S24+ panel is a different part that will not fit an S24 FE.

It has the longest stretch of updates left of any S23 or S24 model, so it is well worth repairing. It shipped in October 2024 with seven Android upgrades and seven years of security patches, which carries it to about October 2031, and its front glass is Gorilla Glass Victus+ rather than the Gorilla Glass 5 on the S23 FE. Every repair on it undercuts the standard S24 except one: battery R1 575 against R1 700, port R1 251 against R1 382, back cover R1 450 against R1 664, but the screen is R3 900 against R3 718 because the panel is 6.7 inch rather than 6.2.
