Battery trouble on a fairly new phone deserves diagnosis, not guesswork. Genuine wear, a power-hungry app and a faulty cell can all look the same from the outside, and the S24 FE's 4700mAh cell should still be strong.

We test first, then fit the original Samsung battery for the SM-S721B if the cell is the problem. The phone is resealed with new adhesive and tested again before collection. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions

Could it be software rather than the battery?

On a newer phone, sometimes. A misbehaving app or a bad update can mimic a worn cell. Check Settings, then Battery, to see what is consuming power, and restart the phone. If the drain continues with nothing unusual showing, the hardware needs testing, which is where we come in.

What does the battery replacement involve?

The phone is opened at the back, the old cell is safely lifted from its adhesive, and the original Samsung battery goes in its place. We reseal the cover with new adhesive, then charge-test the phone before you collect. Your data is untouched throughout, though a backup beforehand is always wise.

My FE gets hot while charging. Is that the battery?

Warmth during fast charging is normal. Real heat, or heat during slow charging and idle, is not, and a worn or faulty cell is one common cause, along with thick cases trapping heat and damaged cables. If it is consistently hot, stop using the fast charger and bring it in for testing.
