Common questions
Will any S Pen work in my S23 Ultra?
No. S Pens are model specific. The S23 Ultra pen has its own shape, latch and Bluetooth hardware, and pens from Note phones or tablets either will not fit the slot or will not charge and pair properly. We supply the original Samsung S Pen made for this model.
Does a new S Pen need to be set up or paired?
It is close to automatic. Slide the new pen into the slot and the phone charges and pairs it for the Bluetooth features like Air Actions and the camera remote. Basic writing works immediately even without pairing, because the screen itself powers that part of the pen.
My S Pen writes fine but the remote features stopped. Do I need a new pen?
Not always. First leave the pen in the slot for a few minutes so its small internal battery charges, and check S Pen settings for a reset option. If it still will not pair or hold charge, the pen's Bluetooth side has failed, and a replacement original pen sorts it out.
