An Ultra that will not charge properly is usually a port problem, not a battery problem. Years of daily plugging wear the USB-C connector loose, lint from pockets packs in hard at the bottom, and one skew cable insertion can bend a pin.
On the SM-S918B the port sits on a sub-board that we replace with the original Samsung part. Charging, fast charging and data are tested before collection, and part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
Samsung DeX stopped connecting. Can the port cause that?
Yes. DeX over USB needs the data and video lines in the port, which fail independently of the charging pins. If charging still works but DeX, file transfer or a monitor connection will not, the sub-board is the likely fault. Replacing it with the original part restores the full connection.
Why has fast charging stopped working?
Fast charging needs a clean, low-resistance connection between the charger and the phone. Worn pins, lint or corrosion raise resistance, and the phone drops to slow charging to stay safe. Test with another Samsung cable and charger first. If nothing changes, the port sub-board needs replacing.
Is the whole motherboard replaced for a port repair?
No, and that is what keeps this repair sensible. Samsung put the USB-C connector on a separate sub-board inside the phone, so the main board with your storage on it is not touched. We swap the sub-board for an original part, and your data stays where it is.
