The Note8 S Pen is a precise instrument with 4096 pressure levels, and it is model specific. A pen from another Note will not sit or write correctly, so the right replacement matters.
We supply original Samsung S Pens for the Note8. If yours is lost, chewed by the dog or no longer registering on the screen, we can hand you a new one over the counter in a matching colour where available.
Signs you need this repair
- S Pen lost or left behind somewhere
- Tip is bent or worn flat
- Pen doesn't register on the screen anymore
- Air Command doesn't open when you pull out the pen
- Pen sits loose in the slot or won't click in

Common questions
Will a Note9 or Note10 S Pen work in my Note8?
No. S Pens are model specific. A pen from another Note may not fit the Note8 slot properly and will not behave correctly on the digitiser. We supply the original Samsung S Pen made for the Note8, so it clicks in, ejects and writes exactly as intended.
My S Pen writes but skips lines. Is the pen or the screen faulty?
Usually the pen. The tip wears down and the internals can be damaged by drops or by inserting the pen backwards. Test with another Note8 pen if you can. If a new pen shows the same skipping, the digitiser in the screen needs looking at instead.
Does the Note8 S Pen need charging or pairing?
No. The Note8 pen is powered by the screen itself and has no battery or Bluetooth, so a replacement works the moment you pull it out the packet. Bluetooth pens only arrived with the Note9, which is why the two are not interchangeable.
