The Note8 carries a 6.3 inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED panel that curves over both edges. It is a beautiful screen and an expensive one to damage, because the glass and the display are laminated together as a single unit.

Common questions
The glass is cracked but the display works. Do I need the full screen?
On the Note8 the glass and AMOLED panel are laminated together, so they are replaced as one unit. Keep in mind a cracked screen tends to worsen with pressure or moisture, and once the pen digitiser is affected the S Pen starts misbehaving too. Sooner is better.
Will the S Pen work properly on the new screen?
Yes. The digitiser layer that reads the S Pen is built into the screen assembly, so an original replacement restores full pen accuracy and pressure sensitivity. We test the pen across the whole display before you collect the phone.
I can see the keyboard ghosting on my screen. Can that be fixed without replacement?
That is AMOLED burn-in, common on a screen this age, and it is permanent damage to the panel itself. No software setting removes it. A new original screen clears it completely, since you are getting a fresh panel calibrated for the Note8.
