Common questions
The crack is only around the camera. Do you replace the whole cover?
Yes. The camera surround is part of the one-piece rear cover on the A73, so the whole cover is replaced as a single original Samsung part. That is how Samsung designed it, and it means the finished repair looks factory rather than patched.
Will my phone still be water resistant after the cover is replaced?
The new cover is bonded with fresh adhesive, which restores the physical seal. The original IP67 certification only applies to the phone as it left the factory though, so we advise treating any repaired phone with a bit more caution around water.
