The A73 5G sits at the top of Samsung's 2022 A series, with a 120Hz Super AMOLED Plus screen and a 108MP camera. It is a phone people plan to keep, which makes proper repairs with original parts the sensible route when something breaks.

Common questions
My box says SM-A736F, not SM-A736B. Is that a different phone?
No, it is the same handset. Samsung only ever made the A73 as a 5G phone, so whichever of the two codes appears on your box or in Settings, About phone, the same parts and the same prices apply. There is no 4G A73 to mix it up with, unlike the A71, which does have a separate 5G version.
Why is there no headphone jack listed for the A73?
Because the phone does not have one. Samsung dropped the 3.5mm jack when it moved from the A72 to the A73, so wired listening on this model goes through the USB-C port or an adapter. If sound to a wired set has stopped, the part to look at is the charging port sub-board at R885.
Is the A73 worth repairing?
Yes for most jobs, since it is the newest phone on these A series pages at an April 2022 release. At four years old the 5000mAh battery is usually the first thing that needs doing, at R1 333, and the charging port at R885 is the other routine one. The screen is R3 630, dearer than the A72's, which comes down to what the 120Hz Super AMOLED Plus panel costs rather than any difference in the work.
