The A55's rear glass sits in an aluminium frame, and when the glass cracks the phone loses both its finish and its seal. Bonded adhesive holds the back in place, so replacement is a workshop job, not a snap on cover.
We lift the broken glass, prepare the frame and bond an original Samsung back cover with new adhesive. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
Does the aluminium frame make the back harder to replace?
It changes the technique rather than the outcome. The glass bonds to the metal frame with strong adhesive, so removal takes controlled heat and patience to avoid marking the frame. Our technicians work on these regularly, and the new cover bonds to a properly cleaned frame.
My frame is slightly dented near the cracked glass. Can you still fit a new back?
Usually, yes. Minor dents rarely stop a new cover from seating, and we will tell you upfront if yours is an exception. If the frame is bent enough to affect the seal or the fit, we will show you what we found and discuss options before going ahead.
Is the phone still water resistant after a back replacement?
The rating comes from the design and the seals, and we fit new adhesive seals when the cover goes on. Treat water resistance on any repaired or aged phone as accident protection rather than an invitation, which is Samsung's own guidance for these ratings.
