A drop onto a corner is usually what cracks a Flip4's rear glass. The panels are bonded to the frame with adhesive, which keeps them solid in daily use but means a proper replacement involves heat, careful lifting and fresh adhesive.

Common questions
Is the back glass repair urgent or can it wait?
It is not an emergency, but cracked glass sheds fragments and lets dust and moisture reach the inside of the phone. On a folding phone, debris working its way toward the hinge is worth avoiding. Sooner is better, especially if the glass is lifting.
Will you need my phone unlock code?
Yes, please. We test the phone before and after any repair, and that needs the phone unlocked. If you prefer not to share your code, you can remove it before dropping the phone off and set it up again when you collect.
Can I fit a back cover myself with a kit off the internet?
We would not suggest it on a Flip4. The panels are bonded with adhesive, the cover screen and camera sit close to the glass, and prying without experience cracks more than it fixes. A professionally fitted original cover seals properly and keeps the phone solid.
