Common questions
How many years does a Flip4 battery last?
It depends on cycles rather than years. Someone charging twice a day wears a battery out roughly twice as fast as someone charging nightly. Once you see fast draining, sudden shutdowns or heat, the cell is telling you it is done, whatever the calendar says.
Does the repair reset my phone?
No. A battery replacement is purely hardware and your data stays where it is. Keep a backup as a matter of habit, but the repair does not wipe anything. You get the phone back with your apps, photos and settings exactly as you left them.
Can a worn battery damage anything else in a Flip4?
It can if it swells. Space inside a folding phone is tight, and a swollen cell pushes against the display and back glass. If your phone feels lumpy, bulges or the back is lifting, stop charging it and bring it in as soon as you can.
