The S8+ screen curves over both edges, which looks good but takes the hit first when the phone lands on its side. Once the glass is cracked, pressure or moisture can spread the damage into the AMOLED panel underneath, so it pays not to leave it.
We fit an original Samsung screen calibrated for the SM-G955F, so colour, brightness and edge touch behave the way they should. The part and the fitting are included in the price shown.

My glass is cracked but the display still works. Do I need the full screen?
On the S8+ the glass and the AMOLED panel are bonded together as one part, so a cracked screen is replaced as a complete unit. That is also why the repair restores both the glass and the display quality in one go.
Will my photos and apps still be there after the repair?
Yes. A screen replacement does not touch your storage, so photos, apps and messages stay as they are. We still recommend keeping a backup as a general habit, because any phone with physical damage can develop further faults later.
