Common questions
How do I know it is the battery and not something else?
Sudden shutdowns, fast draining and a phone that gets warm doing very little are classic signs of a worn cell. You can also check the battery statistics in the settings. If you are not sure, bring it in and we will test it before replacing anything.
My back cover is lifting. Is that related to the battery?
It can be. A worn battery sometimes swells and pushes the glass back cover away from the frame. If you see that, stop charging the phone and bring it in soon, because a swollen cell should be replaced rather than left in the phone.
Do you use original Samsung batteries?
Yes. We are an authorised Samsung service centre, so the battery is an original Samsung service part made for the SM-G955F, fitted by a trained technician. The part and the fitting are both included in the price shown on this page.
