The Galaxy S25 is the compact one in the S25 range, with a 6.2 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen and a 4000mAh battery. Small phones still take hard knocks, and the S25's glass front and back crack like any other flagship.

Common questions

How do I know I have the S25 and not the S25+ or the Ultra?

Open Settings, tap About phone and read the model number. The plain S25 is SM-S931B, the S25+ is SM-S936B and the Ultra is SM-S938B, and no part crosses between them. The S25 is also the small one at 6.2 inches, so if your phone is nearer 6.7 you are on the wrong page.

Does the 4000mAh battery wear out sooner than the rest of the S25 range?

It goes through more charge cycles, which is what ages a battery. The S25 carries 4000mAh against 4900mAh in the S25+ and 5000mAh in the Ultra, so the same day's use empties it further and it goes back on the charger more often. That shows up as a shorter day rather than a sudden failure. A replacement is R1 900, part and fitting included.

The screen and the back both cracked in one drop. What am I in for?

R4 650 for the pair, made up of R2 700 for the screen and R1 950 for the back cover, done in one booking and still inside the usual three working days. Both faces of the S25 are glass, so a flat landing on a hard floor often takes out the two of them together. The back cover does not have to be done at the same time, and the R2 700 screen on its own is the smaller job.
