Every battery wears with charge cycles, and the S25's 4000mAh cell is no different. After a year or two of daily charging, the phone starts dying earlier in the afternoon and the percentage drops in jumps rather than ticking down steadily.
We fit original Samsung batteries at our authorised service centre in Umhlanga. The battery and the fitting are both included in the price shown, and the old cell is disposed of properly.
Signs you need this repair
- Battery drops fast even on standby
- Phone shuts down before it reaches 0 percent
- Gets hot while charging
- Back cover lifting or a bulge in the middle
- Needs a charge before lunchtime

Common questions
How do I know my S25 battery actually needs replacing?
Open Samsung Members and run the battery diagnostic, or just go by behaviour. If the phone dies early, jumps from 30 percent to shutdown, or gets warm on light use, the cell has worn. Bring it in and we will confirm before you commit to the repair.
My phone's back is bulging. Is that the battery?
Almost always, yes. A swollen cell pushes the back cover away from the frame. Stop charging it, do not press on the bulge, and bring it in as soon as you can. A swollen battery needs replacing, and the sooner it comes out, the less strain on the screen and cover.
Is it a genuine Samsung battery, and is fitting included?
Yes on both counts. We fit the original Samsung battery for the S25, done by trained technicians at an authorised service centre. The part and the fitting are included in the price shown, so there is nothing added at the counter when you collect.
