Common questions
My S25 screen is cracked but still works. Can I wait?
You can, but cracks spread under everyday pressure and moisture gets in through the glass. Once liquid reaches the AMOLED layer you can lose the display and the under-screen fingerprint reader with it. If the phone still works, sooner is safer, and it keeps the repair to just the screen.
Is the replacement screen an original Samsung part?
Yes. We are a Samsung authorised service centre, so the panel we fit is the original Samsung service part for the SM-S931B. It is calibrated for this model, which means colour, brightness and the ultrasonic fingerprint reader work as they did out of the box.
Will I lose my photos and data during a screen replacement?
A screen replacement does not involve wiping the phone, so your data normally stays exactly where it is. That said, we always suggest a backup before any repair, because a phone that has been dropped can have hidden damage. Use Smart Switch or your Samsung account before you bring it in.
