Common questions
Will an original screen really be brighter than an aftermarket one?
Noticeably. The S22+ panel is a high-brightness Dynamic AMOLED 2X, and copies rarely come close, which you feel outdoors in Durban sun. The original assembly we fit is the same specification the phone shipped with, and it is calibrated for this model rather than adapted to it.
Does a screen replacement erase the phone?
No. The screen is a display and touch assembly, not storage, so your photos, contacts and apps are untouched by the repair. If the old screen has failed completely you may not manage a backup beforehand, and we can still proceed. The data stays on the phone.
The screen works but there is a dark band across it. Same repair?
Yes. A dark or faded band means part of the AMOLED panel has failed, usually after impact or pressure, and panels are not repairable at that level. The screen assembly is replaced as one original part, which resolves the band, and the price shown covers part and fitting.
