The S22+ supports some of the fastest wired charging Samsung offers, which makes a failing USB-C port extra frustrating. Ports fail from lint, wear and bent pins, and no cable can compensate for worn contacts.

Our repair replaces the complete sub-board that carries the port with the original Samsung part for this model. The board and the technician's fitting are covered together by the price shown.

Common questions

Why has my 45W charging stopped working?

Full-speed charging needs a clean negotiation between charger, cable and port. Worn or dirty port contacts break that negotiation first, so the phone falls back to slow charging before it stops charging entirely. If a proper 45W adapter and good cable do not restore it, the port is the usual culprit.

Are phantom USB notifications part of the same fault?

Usually. Notifications about accessories or moisture appearing when nothing is plugged in point to shorted or corroded pins in the port telling the phone stories. It is the same hardware that handles charging, so one sub-board replacement typically silences the notifications and fixes charging together.

Can I charge wirelessly until I bring it in?

Yes, wireless charging runs through a separate coil and is a good stopgap while the port is out of action. It is slower and will not transfer files to a computer, but it keeps the phone alive. Just do not let a stopgap become permanent if you rely on fast top-ups.
