Common questions
Can I keep using fast charging with the new battery?
Yes. The original battery is rated for the S22+ charging system, including 45W wired charging with a suitable adapter. Fast charging does generate heat, and heat ages cells, so slower overnight charging is kind to the battery, but you do not need to change your habits.
What are the signs the battery is the real problem?
Look for endurance collapse rather than one bad day. Standby drain, shutdowns above zero percent, heat during light use and a phone that only feels dependable when plugged in all point at the cell. If a few of those sound familiar, testing will almost certainly confirm it.
Is the battery replacement done on site?
Yes, at our Umhlanga service centre by Samsung trained technicians, using the original battery for this model. The phone is opened, the worn cell safely removed and the new one fitted and tested here. You are welcome to phone the branch to plan your visit.
