The S20 introduced 120Hz to the Galaxy S line on a 6.2 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, and the difference in smoothness is obvious the moment you use one. It is also why a copy screen is such a downgrade on this phone.

We only fit the original Samsung display, calibrated for the S20's colour, refresh rate and in-screen fingerprint reader. Screen and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions

Will the new screen still run at 120Hz?

Yes. The original Samsung panel is the same Dynamic AMOLED 2X display the phone shipped with, so 120Hz, HDR playback and the factory colour calibration all carry over. Copy panels frequently cap at 60Hz, which is one of the easiest ways to spot them.

A green line appeared on my S20 out of nowhere. Can it be fixed?

Vertical line faults on AMOLED panels come from a failed connection inside the display, not from software, so no update or reset will remove it. A new original screen resolves it completely. If the line appeared after an update, that timing is coincidence rather than cause.

Does the in-screen fingerprint reader survive a screen replacement?

With an original panel, yes. The S20's ultrasonic reader is designed to work through the factory display, and we calibrate and test it as part of the fitting. This is one of the repairs where an original screen genuinely matters, since copies often block the sensor entirely.
