Running the S20's 120Hz screen takes power, and its 4000mAh battery works hard for it. After five or six years of daily cycles, capacity drops and the phone starts hunting for a charger by afternoon.
We restore it with an original Samsung battery for the SM-G980F, fitted and tested by our technicians. The figure on this page is the full price for part and fitting.

Common questions
Does using 120Hz mode wear the battery faster?
The high refresh mode draws more power per day, which means more charge cycles over time, but that is normal use, not misuse. Battery wear comes with every phone's life. Once the runtime no longer suits you, an original replacement battery brings back the capacity the S20 started with.
My S20 shuts down on cold mornings. Is that the battery?
Yes, that is textbook battery wear. Cold slows the chemistry inside a lithium cell, and a worn one cannot hold voltage in low temperatures, so the phone cuts out even with charge showing. A new original cell handles the cold the way it did when the phone was new.
How long will the new battery last before it wears too?
Lithium batteries are consumables. Expect noticeable wear after a few hundred full charge cycles, which for most people is a few years of use. Habits help: avoid heat, avoid sitting at 100 percent all day, and the replacement will age slower than one that lives on a charger.
