Common questions
Does using 120Hz mode wear the battery faster?
The high refresh mode draws more power per day, which means more charge cycles over time, but that is normal use, not misuse. Battery wear comes with every phone's life. Once the runtime no longer suits you, an original replacement battery brings back the capacity the S20 started with.
My S20 shuts down on cold mornings. Is that the battery?
Yes, that is textbook battery wear. Cold slows the chemistry inside a lithium cell, and a worn one cannot hold voltage in low temperatures, so the phone cuts out even with charge showing. A new original cell handles the cold the way it did when the phone was new.
