Common questions
Someone quoted me for just gluing the cracked glass down. Why replace it?
Glue holds shards in place but the glass stays broken, keeps spreading and never seals properly again. A replacement is a new original cover bonded with fresh adhesive, which restores the look and the seal in one go. On a phone worth keeping, it is the proper repair.
Can the cameras be damaged by a broken back cover?
Indirectly, yes. The rear cameras sit directly under the cover's camera surround, so cracks there let in dust that ends up as spots in your photos, and moisture is a bigger risk still. If your photos went hazy after the drop, mention it when you bring the phone in.
Will the replacement cover be the same colour as my phone?
