Common questions
Part of my display went dark but the glass is fine. Same repair?
Yes. The glass, touch layer and AMOLED panel are laminated into one assembly on the S20+, so a shadowed or dead area is fixed by the same screen replacement as a crack. Internal panel damage after a drop or pressure is common even when the glass survives.
Do original screens really make a difference on the S20+?
On this phone, a big one. The original panel keeps Quad HD resolution, 120Hz, factory colour calibration and a working ultrasonic fingerprint reader. Copies commonly downgrade several of those at once. As an authorised Samsung centre we fit only the original part, with fitting included in the price shown.
Can you check whether it's just the screen before I commit?
Yes, that is how we work. A drop can damage more than the display, so the phone is assessed first and we confirm the screen is the fault before fitting one. If anything else shows up in testing, you hear about it before any decision is made.
