The A32 was the first phone in this range with a 90Hz Super AMOLED screen, and that smooth display is exactly what owners miss most when it cracks. It is also the part we replace most often on this model.

Common questions

How do I know whether I have the A32 or the A32 5G?

Look at where the fingerprint reader sits. The 4G A32 is SM-A325F and reads your fingerprint through the screen, while the 5G is SM-A326B and puts the reader in the side power button. The 4G also carries the better display, a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED at full HD+ and 90Hz, where the 5G uses a 6.5 inch LCD at 720p. Get the model number from Settings, About phone before booking, because a 6.4 inch AMOLED will not go into a frame cut for a 6.5 inch LCD.

Will an A31 or A33 screen fit an A32?

No. All three are 6.4 inch Super AMOLED, but each panel is bonded into a frame cut for that model and uses its own connector, so they do not swap. We fit the assembly made for the SM-A325F at R2 450. If you are not certain which of the three you are holding, the model number is under Settings, About phone.

Is a 2021 A32 still worth fixing?

For most of the repairs, yes. It arrived in February 2021 and took updates through to Android 13, so it is still a phone you can live with, and at R1 033 the battery is one of the cheaper ones in the A3 range. A charging port is R730 and a back cover R775. The screen at R2 450 is the only one that needs real thought on a five-year-old handset.
