The A31's back cover takes the daily knocks so the inside of the phone does not have to. Once it is cracked or lifting, it stops doing that job and starts letting dust and moisture through.
We remove the damaged cover, clean off the old adhesive and bond an original Samsung cover in its place. It is a neat job when done properly, and part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
Is a cracked back cover urgent or can it wait?
It is not an emergency, but it is a countdown. Cracks in the cover spread with everyday pressure, and the gap lets dust and moisture reach the battery and boards. Sorting it while it is only a cover problem keeps it from becoming an internal one.
Will the phone still be sealed properly with the new cover?
We bond the new cover with fresh adhesive, which is how it left the factory. The A31 never carried a water resistance rating, so treat it the same around water as before, but a properly seated cover keeps dust and grit out far better than a cracked one.
Can I just put a skin or sticker over the cracked back?
A skin hides the crack but does not seal it, and small pieces of the cover can keep breaking away underneath. It also does nothing if the cover is lifting at the edges. Replacing the cover with the original Samsung part fixes the problem instead of covering it.
