Common questions
Will my in-display fingerprint work again after the screen replacement?
In most cases yes. The sensor reads through the panel, so a damaged screen is usually what stops it working. With the original Samsung panel fitted and calibrated, fingerprint unlock generally comes right. If the sensor itself was damaged in the drop, we will tell you before going further.
Is the replacement screen the same quality as the original?
It is the original. As an authorised Samsung service centre we fit Samsung service parts, not copies. The panel is the same FHD+ Super AMOLED specification the A31 shipped with, so colours, brightness and touch feel are what you had on day one.
The glass is fine but the display shows lines. Is that the same repair?
Yes. The glass and display come as one bonded unit on the A31, so lines, flicker and dead patches are fixed by the same panel replacement as cracked glass. Whatever the fault looks like, the part and the fitting are included in the one price shown.
