Charging problems on the A31 usually come down to the USB-C socket. Lint gets packed in over years of pockets and bags, pins wear, and eventually the cable will not make solid contact.
The port sits on a sub-board, so the fix is a clean board-for-board swap with an original Samsung part rather than soldering. Our technicians in Umhlanga do the fitting, and part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
Can you clean the port instead of replacing it?
If compacted lint is the only problem, a proper clean can sort it and we will do that first. If the pins are worn or bent, or the socket is loose on the board, cleaning is temporary at best and we will recommend the sub-board replacement instead.
Why does my A31 charge only when the cable is at an angle?
That is the classic sign of worn contact pins inside the socket. Angling the cable forces the pins to touch, but it gets worse and eventually stops working entirely. The angled position also strains the socket further. A new original sub-board puts the connection back to factory spec.
Does the charging port repair affect anything else on the phone?
Nothing else is affected. Your data, screen and battery are untouched. The old sub-board comes out, the original Samsung replacement goes in, and the phone is tested before you collect it. If we spot another fault while the phone is open, we will let you know before doing further work.
