Common questions
Half my A14 screen is darker than the other half. What causes that?
Backlight or LCD damage, usually from an impact or pressure. It will not settle on its own and it usually spreads over time. A new original display for the SM-A145F restores even brightness across the panel.
Do I need to back up before a screen replacement?
The repair does not touch your data, but we recommend a backup before any repair on principle. If your display is completely dead you may not be able to back up first. Tell us and we will advise on the best order of events.
How do I check the screen you fitted is original?
You are welcome to inspect the phone with us at collection. Colour, brightness and touch behave exactly like a factory A14 because it is the same Samsung part, fitted at an authorised Samsung service centre. That accountability is the point of coming to us.
