When an A14 starts being fussy about charging, the USB-C port is usually worn out or packed solid with lint. Ports fail gradually, from perfect to fussy to dead, and the fussy stage is the cheap time to act.
We replace the complete USB sub-board on the SM-A145F with an original Samsung part, and the fitting is included in the price shown.

Common questions
Charging starts and stops on my A14. Cable, port or battery?
Intermittent charging is most often a worn port making and breaking contact, though a damaged cable does the same. Test a known good cable first. If the problem stays, we test the port and battery and quote on the true fault.
Will I lose anything on the phone during a port repair?
No. The USB sub-board is separate from where your data lives, so photos, apps and messages are untouched. As with any repair, we still suggest keeping a current backup, simply because that is good practice for every phone.
Can a faulty port damage my battery over time?
Poor charging behaviour is not good for any battery. Constant interrupted charging cycles the cell in shallow bursts and can run it flat often, which adds wear. Fixing the port promptly protects the battery you already have.
