Like the front, the S8's back is curved glass, bonded to the frame with adhesive. After nine years, many S8s carry a cracked or chipped rear, and on older phones the covers sometimes start lifting on their own.
We fit the original Samsung back cover for the SM-G950F, bonded on with new adhesive. The cover and the fitting come standard in the price shown.

Common questions
My S8's back is lifting on its own. Nothing was dropped. Why?
Two usual suspects on a phone this age. The factory adhesive can give up after years of heat and pocket time, or the battery underneath has swollen and is pushing the cover off. The second needs prompt attention, so let us check before simply re-bonding the cover.
Are original S8 parts still available?

Wireless charging stopped working after the back cracked. Related?
It can be. Wireless charging works through the rear glass, and a cracked or lifted cover changes the spacing and can trap debris between phone and charger. Replacing the cover restores the proper fit. If wireless charging still misbehaves on the new cover, the coil needs looking at, which we can test.
