The S8's curved Infinity Display was the phone's headline feature, and it is also the reason cracks are so common. Curved glass takes edge impacts badly, and edge impacts are exactly what drops deliver. Age adds its own faults too, like burn-in and tint on a panel this old.

We replace it with the original Samsung Super AMOLED assembly for the SM-G950F. The part and the fitting are included in the price shown.

Signs you need this repair

Common questions

Is it still worth replacing an S8 screen in 2026?

That depends on what the phone does for you. As a WhatsApp phone, a backup handset or a first phone for a teenager, a working S8 still earns its keep, and the repair uses the original Samsung panel. Weigh the price on this page against replacing the whole phone.

My S8 has burn-in, with a faint keyboard always visible. Does a new screen fix it?

Yes, completely. Burn-in is wear in the AMOLED panel itself, where long-displayed images age those pixels unevenly over the years. It is not software and cannot be cleared by any setting. A new original panel has fresh pixels, so the ghost images leave with the old screen.

Does the fingerprint sensor get affected by the screen repair?

No. The S8's fingerprint sensor sits on the back of the phone next to the camera, not under the display like newer models, so a screen replacement does not touch it. If the sensor is also playing up, mention it when you get in touch and we will check it separately.
