On a phone defined by its display, the display is everything. The S26 Ultra's 6.9 inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with its 120Hz refresh is the part you look at all day, and only the original Samsung assembly for the SM-S948B brings it back properly after a crack.
We fit that assembly at our authorised centre in Umhlanga, calibrated for this model, with the fitting included in the price shown.
Signs you need this repair
- Crack across the QHD+ panel after one drop
- Pink or green line that appeared overnight
- Screen stays off though the phone is on
- Dead zone where touch stopped working
- Deep scratch gone through the coating

Common questions
Is the replacement really identical to the factory screen?
Yes. As an authorised Samsung centre we fit the original Samsung display assembly for the SM-S948B, the same part the phone is built with. Resolution, brightness, the 120Hz refresh and the under-display fingerprint reader all perform to factory spec after fitting and calibration.
A line appeared on the screen with no drop or damage. Why?
AMOLED panels can develop a coloured line when an internal display connection fails, sometimes overnight and with no impact at all. It is a hardware fault in the panel, not a setting or software issue, so restarting will not clear it. The fix is a replacement panel.
There is a deep scratch in the glass. Can that be polished out?
No, and polishing makes it worse by damaging the coating around the scratch. The finish is part of the glass assembly, so the only true fix is a new original panel. If the mark does not bother you in daylight, it is safe to live with. It is cosmetic, not structural.
