Common questions
I plan to keep this phone for years. When should the battery be done?
When it interferes with your day, not on a fixed date. The practical markers are needing a midday charge, sudden shutdowns, or visibly fast standby drain. Many hard-used Ultras reach that point around the two-year mark. Doing the battery then resets the clock on the phone's best years.
Why not just carry a power bank instead?
A power bank treats the symptom, and it means more cycles, more heat and faster wear on an already tired cell. It also does nothing about sudden shutdowns under load, which are a voltage problem rather than a capacity one. A new original cell fixes the cause and lightens your bag.
Does the titanium frame change the battery repair at all?
Not in a way you will notice. The phone opens through the back glass and the battery sits beneath it, the same as other Galaxy models, so the frame itself is not disturbed. The original Samsung battery goes in, the back is resealed with new adhesive, and the phone is tested before collection.
