A 6.4 inch Super AMOLED panel made the Note9 one of the biggest phones of 2018, and the pen-driven curved display is still the reason people keep them. It is all one laminated unit, so glass, touch, display and pen digitiser get replaced together.

Our technicians fit original Samsung panels made for the Note9, then verify touch, pen pressure and colour before returning the phone. The price on this page includes the part and the labour.

Common questions

A coloured line appeared on my Note9 without any drop. What causes that?

Vertical pink, purple or green lines are a known AMOLED failure where a connection inside the panel gives out, often with age or heat rather than a drop. There is no software fix. Replacing the screen with an original panel resolves it, because the whole display is renewed.

Is it worth replacing the screen on a 2018 phone?

That depends on the rest of the phone. A Note9 with a healthy battery and motherboard is still a capable device, and a screen replacement costs a fraction of a new phone with a pen. If you are unsure, bring it in and we will give you an honest opinion first.

Do aftermarket Note9 screens work with the S Pen?

Many copies either drop pen support or track it badly, with skips and pressure problems, because the Wacom digitiser layer is hard to reproduce. Original Samsung panels are calibrated for the Note9 and keep full pen accuracy. That is all we fit at our authorised service centre.
