Common questions
My old S Pen still writes but the remote button does nothing. Why?
Writing uses the screen's digitiser, but the button features run over Bluetooth from a small supercapacitor inside the pen. If that internal cell no longer holds charge, remote functions die while writing carries on. The fix is a replacement pen, since the pen is sealed.
Will a cheaper generic stylus work on my Note9?
Capacitive styluses that work on ordinary touchscreens do not work with the Note's Wacom digitiser, and generic S Pen copies tend to have poor pressure response and no working Bluetooth. An original Samsung Note9 pen restores everything, including the remote functions and in-slot charging.
Does the replacement pen come in my phone's colour?
Note9 pens came in a few colours, including the yellow pen from the Ocean Blue model, which writes in yellow on the off screen memo. Tell us which colour you are after when you get in touch and we will confirm what we can get for you.
