Common questions
My phone shuts down when I open the camera. Battery or phone fault?
Almost always the battery. The camera pulls a burst of power, and a worn cell's voltage collapses under that load, so the phone protects itself by switching off. A new original battery restores the headroom and the random shutdowns stop with it.
My screen is lifting on one side. Is that a battery problem?
It can be. A swollen battery pushes the display or back cover outwards from inside. Stop charging the phone and bring it in, because a swollen cell needs careful removal. Caught early, the screen usually survives and only the battery needs replacing.
