The A23 carries a 6.6 inch LCD, one of the biggest in the A series, and a big screen catches more of every drop. Cracks here often come with bleeding patches or dead zones, because on an LCD the damage runs deeper than the glass.

Common questions
Can you replace just the glass and keep my display?
On modern Samsung phones the glass, touch layer and display come as one bonded assembly, and that is how the original part is supplied. Fitting the complete assembly is what keeps touch accuracy and brightness at factory standard, so that is the repair we do.
Part of my A23 screen ignores touch. Will a new screen fix it?
Almost always. The touch layer is part of the display assembly, so dead zones after a drop or crack are a screen fault, not a software one. If our testing points at anything other than the display, we tell you before going ahead with the work.
Does a cracked screen let water in?
It can. The crack breaks the seal across the front of the phone, and the A23 has no waterproof rating to fall back on. Rain, a splash or even humid air can reach the display and board through the damage, which is why waiting rarely pays.
