New phones break too. The Galaxy A07 only arrived in August 2025, but a drop on a tiled floor does not care how recent the model is. We repair screens, batteries, charging ports and back covers on the SM-A075 at our Umhlanga branch.

Common questions

My phone reads SM-A075F. Is that the A07?

Yes. Samsung ships the Galaxy A07 as SM-A075 and SM-A075F depending on the region and the dual SIM version, and both take the same parts. You will find the code under Settings, About phone, Model number. If it reads SM-A065F you have the A06, the model the A07 replaced, and its parts are different.

The A07 only arrived in August 2025. What is already going wrong with them?

Breakages rather than wear. A year is not long enough for the 5000mAh battery or the charging port to age out, so the parts at risk on an A07 are the ones a drop takes: the 6.7 inch panel at R1 900 and the back cover at R860. If one this new is running flat quickly, have it tested first, because at a year old the cell is unlikely to be the cause. A battery is R845 if it is.

Is the A07 screen the same as the A16 screen?

No. Both measure 6.7 inches and both run at 90Hz, so they read alike on a spec sheet, but the A07 uses a PLS LCD where the A16 uses a Super AMOLED. They are separate parts and neither fits the other phone. The A07 panel is R1 900 and the A16 panel R2 000.
