Will a replacement screen keep the 90Hz smoothness?
Ours will, because we fit the original Samsung panel made for the A04s. Generic panels often run at 60Hz or handle touch poorly, and you feel the downgrade every time you scroll. With the original part the phone performs exactly as it did before the damage.
The screen is black but I can hear notifications. Is the phone dead?
No, that usually means the display has failed while the phone underneath is fine. It is one of the most common faults we see after a drop. A screen replacement brings it back, along with everything on it, since your data is untouched by the repair.
